"Hunter"

Hunter passed in October 2021 at the age of 15.
Hunter was my first Silken Windhound and came to me at three years of age from Chris Swilley of Renaissance Borzoi and Silken Windhounds. He was bred by Alison Brendel, DVM, of Tangaloor Silkens. Hunter's good looks and sweet and easygoing personality earned him many friends.

Hunter enjoys his last few days at Renaissance.
Hunter showed some aptitude for lure sports, but was lacking in the confidence and drive necessary to be a serious competitor. After competing in a few straight racing meets (including a lovely Turtle/Valiant Effort rosette for lowest-scoring dog to complete a meet), he retired to be a first-class couch decoration and companion. He passed in October 2021, at 15 years old.
