Hudson had so much lure drive as a young puppy (no doubt inherited from his mom!), I could never have anticipated just how keen he would grow as adult. His sheer love of chasing the bunny more than makes up for all the early mornings and sore muscles.

Hudson is a powerful and agile runner, which served him well in lure coursing, earning many BOBs. Unfortunately, he quickly learned how to put the "cheat" in Field Champion!

While he is not the fastest sprinter, Hudson's signature racing style of kicking in the afterburners mere feet from the finish line makes for exciting finishes and more than a few "by a nose" victories. Maybe one day he can manage to squeak out the handful of points he needs for his SGRC! :)
Hudson began his straight racing career in Autumn 2011.
Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays this hound from pursuit of the bunny! March 2012, picking up his first GRC/NGRC points.

At the same time, Hudson is an incredibly affectionate dog and quite possibly the world's best snuggler. He's a playful clown at home and never takes himself too seriously.
